Images should just be posted directly on the forum. There is no need to put images elsewhere for just the reason that this page shows. Other sites do not always remain current or active.

Re: EMG and Expert fibre needle cutters
Since this thread has been resurrected - here's another cutter which I seem to remember was for sale a few years ago, but I think it might be a red herring - perhaps someone with engineering skills made it for their EMG and stamped the initials on it.

Re: EMG and Expert fibre needle cutters
I bought this wonderful little cutter knowing it was not an EMG. It is marked EHC. I don't know if it is someones name or a brand name. It is an ingenious bit of engineering, well designed and works really well. It could be a one-off but I suspect not with the amount of work on knurling and the precision steel cutting edges. It also has a tempered brass spring strap to hold the bamboo needle in the cutting groove. I believe you need an especially hot oven to temper brass.but I think it might be a red herring - perhaps someone with engineering skills made it for their EMG and stamped the initials on it.
I'll start digging out pictures of my other EMG and Expert cutters to add to this post.
