I have a 109, a later model with an automatic stop. It is a very nice machine- the horn takes a twist inside the case making it longer than usual for a table machine. With a #4 soundbox it hadles electric discs very well, and that Thorens soundbox may sound better.

Apologies.... I have now had time to look it up in "the Book" and see there was a variation with this tone arm and lid stay - I had just never come across one !! Every day is indeed a school day !!!!

Every day is a school day, it was only after close scrutiny in "The Book", I also was able to differ the tone arm and lid stay.
We all learn by mistakes:)
