Anyone seen one of these?. I just bought it but have not seen it in person yet. Parts missing but it captured my imagination.
Even managed to find a patent for it.
Mr Walton sounds like an interesting man.

Re: Waltonophone
The Waltonophone eventually arrived and I have had to quarantine it because of the woodworm. It feels solid but is riddled with worm holes. I covered it in wood preservative and it is presently being fumigated.
It's missing the following.
1. Electric motor. Does anyone have any ideas as to what motor this might have been?. How many rpm it might have run at. Here is a picture of the governor assembly and where the motor would have been mounted.
2. The tonearm and soundbox. I'm hoping to use a similar tonearm and fashion a soundbox like one in the patent.
3. The horn?. Tubes?. There is a tube from under the tonearm that hooks up and over the motor mount and then ends up next to the governor . I am guessing that would have been attached to a horn that was directed to the base cabinet.
4. The base unit cover is missing. There is a wooden money box there and nothing else.
The turntables hold 6" Eclipse records.
I will add more pictures once It has passed quarantine and I have cleaned it.

Re: Waltonophone
Here's an update to a very old post.
I do a regular internet search on the Waltonophone and for years now have had no luck.
Imagine my surprise when I come across a complete working example.
Gobsmacked!. There's even a video of it playing.

WOW . What a stunning machine and an amazing find, sort of like a disc equivalent to a king multiphone.
