Hi there,
Yes, thanks for the feedback and the reminder...Ordered 2 springs which arrive shortly. :-)
Will rebuild.
Took a look at the sound box and dismantled.
As suspected by everyone the "o" ring is somewhat perished. Looking for replacement? See pics? Any suggestions? Soundgen, do you supply too?
Also the clear glass panel?

Unless I'm missing something, the gaskets are usually two: one in front of and the other behind the diaphragm. They are hand-made with tubing cut to the appropriate length. When the tubing is not white it is generally recommended to replace it with rubber tubing for bicycle valves. I usually buy from this seller but of course there are many others:

The diaphragm is usually not glass but mica. If it is not cracked or delaminated I suggest that you keep the original one that came with the soundbox.

No way.

Can we please see a picture of what's on the inner side of the back flange? That is the part on the left of this picture, but unscrewed and photographed the other way around:

Correct.

Please note that it is only coincidentally stuck to the back flange: when replacing, you should fit it in the groove all around the front flange, on top of the back of the diaphragm.

Thanks for keeping me straight.
I will order material for gasket.
How do you fix it in place?
