So, other Companies used HMV Parts / design under licence

I assume this means that HMV allowed other companies to use their designs / parts under licence.

Maybe HMV even made them for the third party company ?

This Maxitone does look a bit like an HMV Portable I suppose.

I am probably the last to know, but I didn't know they did that.

So this is one I posted about in 2015 , for some reason there is no transfer on it but is identical to the Maxitone in this thread , I still have it somewhere minus the Exhibition soundbox it came with and if anyone wants it let me know , can be £30 collected or posted which would be additional

That makes two of us, I had never heard of these licensed brands. The machine looks quite similar, but not identical to the 102. The lid holder is from the 101, but the one soundgen showed has the 102 holder.

The red machine pictured is for sale about 30 miles from me, but at a £175 "Buy it Now" price the seller is unlikely to be trampled in the rush to purchase.
