But the British 113a has double spring motor? My memory is very bad lately. I would have sworn it was a single spring Garrard motor...

To the best of my knowledge the 113a had the Garrard 11a double spring motor.

My memory might fail just as well, but I would also swear that my 113a has a single spring Garrard motor. I will check it soon as the spring failed some months ago, so I have to rehaul the motor anyway.

At present I have 8 HMV's, 9 Columbias, 4 Deccas and 4 "others". My wife thinks that they breed when no-one is looking......
