Help me find the model and motor of the machine

Post by rewwerse »

Hi all. My grandfather give me a machine which is looks like luxophon (images will be attached). The main problem that it's in bad condition and I've got only box and horn. So I decided to find a motor for this machine.

So my questions are is it possible to buy it somewhere?
Can someone talk about the model of the machine (year, exact name and etc.). Cause if it is luxophon it has interesting history cause this machine was found on city Lida (Belarus)

Hello

Yes it is a Parlophone. Luxophone was another name used by Parlophone in the Nordic/Baltics. I try find for you a catalog picture & details.

Your horn could have come in allsorts of colour schemes. See if you can identify any colours left on your horn, there appears to be some paint left. Perhaps pink diffusing to white? The silver painted border appears to have some age on the above horn but I'm not sure if it's correct. I can't say I like this detail that much and hope this doesn't give offence.

Interesting. We were just discussing a Parlophone motor on another thread. It appears yours was only fixed by 3 holes.
