Just received my Flag  I have to pinch myself ! I had one in 1985 and sold it for £385.00 at the Birmingham record fair , that would be a £1000.00 in today's money , I don't understand the lack of interest :?

The sizes on the image indicate that it is standard flag size of 6'x 4'.

Did you check out the Newton Flag Company website above?

Soundgen: I just checked out your website and just now realized that we met in person at your stall on Portobello Road a few years ago. I bought something from you - maybe a needle sharpener or some needle tins, can't quite remember...

Yes I think you bought tins :) I do know the flag maker in the link , when I had the original one in 1985 ( which I sold to Morris Hunting of The Diskery in Birmingham ) This company made 108 copies using some old period flag material , alas they are all sold now except for the one we use for display at Portobello road . We sold a considerable number to Neil Makin of Yesterday Once Again who sold them in the US for $150 ( see The Collectors Guide to " His Master's Voice " Nipper Souvenirs Page 463 )
