In Spain a branch was founded (no factories, AFAIK) near 1903 or so... Earliest Spanish record catalogue I've seen is 1905. This agency was directly put under the direction of the Cie Française Gramophone, and records and machines were named Gramophone. Later, a factory in Barcelona was installed, and by 1915 a full Spanish branch was created, Compañía del Gramofono. Records and machines continued the same, but labelled Gramófono, the Spanish translation of the name. The Spanish factory must have been founded prior to that, probably in 1908-1911. Prior to that, records were imported from Hanover, later from France. I don't know when Spain started to make their own machines, though... Will follow investigations...
