Alex, wonderful work... I had thought of building a similar machine if I ever happened onto the right parts. We seem to be on the same page with hand made phonograph projects.

Very well done Alex---a superb project beautifully executed. Congratulations ! The bookmatched veneers are stunning and quite up to the standards of Frank Darrieulat. A real joy forever.

I must echo all the praise , a tour de force for sure. I think I would have used a bakelite turn knob for the switch though, bit more in keeping. But a small nit pick to a magnificent piece of work.

As an aside, Alex, have you made any more aluminium diaphragms yet? I really need one of 46mm for an unusual soundbox that I am fiddling with at the moment.
