Thanks for all responses.
Barry, could you show a photo of your grey crocodile 101, and also the problem area? For once, it would be great to see the machine, and also...I have the same problem with a grey 101, that I am about to try to amend..with Humbrol acrylic paint, or whatever else that are more suitable. I am currently looking at Humbrol color charts to find the best color to choose.

Thanks Barry. If you don't mind it would also be great to see before and after photos of the problem area on the motor board when the time comes. Then I can compare with the problem area on my own gray 101. I am considering re painting the complete motor board to get an even surface.
