I bought my Orchorsol portable firstly because I had never owned one before, and secondly because of it's outstandingly original condition. It has the adjustable soundbox and pre-dates the ghastly bawling infant lid transfer which cannot have helped sales.

You can get them here. http://www.burmesecolourneedles.com/poodling around wrote: ↑Sun Jul 11, 2021 3:01 amOh no ......................... the fibre needle adapter ..............gramophoneshane wrote: ↑Sat Jul 10, 2021 9:36 pmYou'll have to look for some Apollon needles or other round shank fibres.
Or get an adaptor.
This is one of those items I had the opportunity to buy for 'next to nothing' and didn't and I have regretted not buying it ever since.
Really solidly built / quality product ................. boo hoo
Also, the BCNs (arguably) are a better sound than fibres. I like them, just not great at sharpening them!!

Might need a bit of bending to make the right size, but for £2 it works great.poodling around wrote: ↑Mon Jul 12, 2021 4:26 amAha ! Very good.leels1 wrote: ↑Sun Jul 11, 2021 4:02 pmYou can get them here. http://www.burmesecolourneedles.com/poodling around wrote: ↑Sun Jul 11, 2021 3:01 am
