Hello from Thailand
I brought Columbia 9000 portable gramophone in my country but It’s missing 2 parts is handle and tone arm storage (see photo). I can’t find this part in my country. Where could I find and buy it? (Not expensive)

Re: Columbia 9000 missing parts help!!!
I think member soundgen could have those for cheap, although postage costs from uk to Thailand might be a nightmare! Those parts might be found in Japan too, maybe nearer to you, or in India. Maybe any forum colleague that is near to you could come in...
It's a difficult balance, for in Japan or India these parts aren't as cheap as in England, but postage costs might be cheaper. You have to check several options and examine the total costs.

These parts are identical to those used on the far more common HMV Model 102.
If you are persistent an eBay search for HMV102 parts should find what you need. Here is a typical listing :

Anyway, I'm re-thinking it... . AAnd aas far as it is going to be a very small and light package, postage costs could not be something impossible if you buy these parts from the uk.
PM member soundgen on this forum and maybe he can help you.

Yes, received, thanks. I'm trying to find out the cheapest shipping option available but I'm currently tied up with other duties. Please bear with me and I will get back to you as soon as I've heard back from a colleague who is more of an expert on this than I am.
