Can I give you a tip? Before you cut the velour, draw the circle on the back of the fabric with a ball point pen, then go over that with a thin coat of PVA adhesive. That will dry clear so that you can still see your circle. Doing this will prevent the velour from fraying.

Heres the turntable on my 206 which has a little more colour for reference.

Barry, thank you so much for the tip, it is very much appreciated, and I will of course use it when cutting the velour.

"flying500", thank you so much for uploading this photo, it gives a very good reference to the color of the velour used on a 206.
Do we know if this blue color velour was the same on both the black and the blue 206?
We can see the color on this black 206 is much sharper than on my blue 206.

Maybe the sun also has faded the area of my 206 turntable on the areas that was covered by the record tray.

The colour is actually dark blue but it is not evident in the photos. The horn opening on mine is also blue.
There is blue finishing plate across the cutout on the motorboard underneath the angled winding on the motor.
An added bonus is that they apper to have used a more durable 'pot' metal on the sound box backplate. Both of ours seem in perfect condition unlike many HMV5A's,
the Columbia Maltese Cross front screen is also very appealing.
Let me know if there are any other pictures that you may want for comparison.
All the Best

I just found an old er sold listing for a Black 206 and it has the Blue velour turntable and felt lined tray.
So we have an answer. They all appear to use the same turntables.

Hi Jerry,
That's a Blue, and not Black, 206, right? It looks Blue, and if it is Blue, we know the Black and Blue have the same colored Blue turntable.
Thank you so much for uploading!
