This is one of those annoying instances where two threads on the same subject are running simultaneously.
The other is in the Music section, where I have already explained about the so called Caruso funeral record.

Now I caught it, thanks, Roger. Marco's great translation of the reenactment transmits the feeling intended by the record. A curiosity that underlies the popularity of Caruso at the time of his death.
