What‘s the right reproducer for an Epiphone high-end machine?

Post by phonodesbois »

Last Sunday find an Epiphone #20 from 1915. After a good cleaning and minor works on the motor, the gramophone is up and running; Although not perfect at all, the horn is quite impressive (length with the elbow 86cm…). Quite unusual too, the brown portion of the tone arm is in Bakelite with the embossed Epiphone trade mark.
On the other hand, I’m pretty sure that the machine had a different reproducer but I just know that the manufacturer was CGE in Ivry. CGE also made the Aspir records. Does someone have a pic of the original #20 reproducer?
Thanks all

What a magnificent machine. An Epiphone would be the ultimate addition to the Epigramophone collection  .

This might be the nicest-looking European horn gramophone I've seen in a while. It doesn't look cheap, it looks substantial and elegant, but without looking overdone and gaudy.

Very nice machine. Sorry I can't help with the reproducer hunt.
