How many typewriters' ?????

Post by poodling around »

I saw this on ebay but I don't think I have ever seen the company name written as 'typewriters'' - only 'typewriter'.

I am probably missing something here.

So was it ever 'The Gramophone and Typewriters' Co Ltd' ?

No. The concert promoter and/or the printer just got the title wrong.

Thanks as always epigramophone for clarifying this.

I find things like this very interesting.
