Yes, that's the motor I have seen, but on gramophones made in Britain in the 1912-14 period, there is not Odeon trade mark. On those of the same make from c. 1920, the 'temple' trade-mark is there, but not the separate word Odeon, as far as I can recall. Read all about it in the Winter edition of For the Record, due out in mid-December...

My machine is German, which may explain the difference - maybe they did not include the trade mark for export products. From what I could gather, my machine dates from around 1909. And I will attently read your article when it arrives!
