I really like the youtube channel of Dr. Mark Felton, he makes 10 to 30 minute very high quality and brilliant researched videos on historical topics and adds a dry humor to stories not covered in the history books. I learn something new with every episode.

In this, one of his recent videos about the 100th annaversary of the Munich beerhall putsch, there was a section where Hitler was practicing poses for his speeches, and in one there is a very blurry picture of a gramophone, but even in this state there are a few distinct features, like the triple clasps that could lead to the make being identified.
Had a look myself down the internet rabbithole and found that Hitler´s record collection could still exist in Russia, having being taken from the Bunker at the end of the war, if true, it is said that he had a collection of jewish composers, which would be ironic to the hilt.
So, anybody up for the challenge to identify this machine?

The angle at which the lower/box section is sitting at does not seem to correlate with the angle and perspective of the lid. Is the lid detached from the box? Also, on the left end of the box, do I see what appears to be a banner type decal? Is the box sitting on short legs?

This photograph may be slightly better.

The lid does seem to be odd and I think it is a portable which is on a table maybe.

I can't seem to 'make-out' the tone-arm either. Is it mounted on the left rear part of the motor-board ?

The two 'clasps' at either end of the lid don't seem to clasp anything ? Is the lid reversed ?

Is it playing ?

I don't suppose that it could be a portable recording device so Hitler could hear how he sounded later ?

The front handle seems a bit high ?

Something in a jar - front left maybe ?

It's a Fuehrerphon

And it gives me the creeps. Not quite right like something else in that photo.

And, quite clearly - then, as now - it’s nothing anyone should want to listen to.

Can´t imagine it to be a recording device as these pictures were taken, by all reports, in his München apartment, which is now a police station.

Are you sure that isn't Blakey from "On The Buses" in the first photo ?

Funny, I somehow would have expected a Q.
