I saw this add on the saleroom yesterday and rang them up today as the description wasn't much help
There are about 80 cylinders on offer, mostly blue which is why i'm not bidding as a: i don't have a 4 min reproducer and b: i'm more interested in the 2 minute records.
so i thuht i'd make you guys aware of this as it seems like quite a lot of cylinders, the guy said they had mostly boxes and lids, don't know if they are original though.
and yes they will ship/courier them and take packing advice, i asked that as well.
here's the page

The cylinders may be interesting, but far more interesting is Lot 716 which the auctioneers describe as "A bespoke Edison Standard Phonograph with extensive drawer cased selection of music cylinders and large composite horn."

These cylinders also appear to be BA's, but what machine is this?

It's a two minute Standard with a combination attachment and it's housed in a modern dresser. I don't know about the back bracket and tone arm. Jerry Blais

It is the "large composite horn" which intrigues me.

Could it be one of those Flaxite (later Ebonite) horns sold by Henry Seymour through his sound reproducing accessory business, and also fitted to the Seymour Superphone?

Hi For those interested here are some closer photos of the phonograph, which sold for £900 + commission. The 80 4 minute cylinders sold for £240 + commission.
Maybe someone will be able to provide more information from the photos.
