We are used to seeing machines turned into cocktail cabinets, but stools?
Here we have not one but two HMV130's which have suffered this indignity. At least they are more or less complete, so the alterations may be reversible.
The HMV130 is regarded by many UK collectors as the best table model ever made. Let's hope these two find a good home.

I don't imagine those "stools" would support much weight without the lid collapsing. The fat lady does not have to sing - when she sits, the performance is over. What a stupid idea!
