This machine has just been relisted, having previously failed to attract any bids.
Like many of it's kind, it has been converted from a travelling arm to a tonearm, a legitimate period modification. Unfortunately it also appears to have been re-motored, acquiring a 12 inch turntable and an overly long winding handle. The horn elbow may not be the original either.
Even so, it could be a worthwhile project for someone who has the necessary parts to restore it.

Why the seller thinks that it dates from 1928 is anybody's guess.
