They've popped up everywhere on the Forum these last few days. I wonder who the lucky buyer will be?

Price is $800 and it needs a new spring motor as the original has been swapped with an old, old electric. However, the tonearm, Victor brake, etc. are still there, as well as the speed indicator escutcheon, so the motorboard is salvageable, likely.

Everywhere? Facebook seems to be a good place for treasure hunting.

Still available. If that was in New England I think there would be a line forming. Another $200.00 in parts and some careful elbow grease and you have a nice VV-XVIII, (provided it doesn't have some undisclosed defects).

Isn’t the motor unique to the machine ? It could be hard finding an original Vic XVIII motor....

I really am an old guy. I had to look up AFAIK. I have become my parents.

Are you sure that the horn is not the same a a XVII? I'm going to take some measurements from my VV-130 and compare them to the XVIII, (the 130 should be the same as a late VV-XVII).

The horn is not the same an my 130, (XVII), but the dimensions at the large opening are the same as my 120,( late VXI).

With the hinged back doors, wouldn't this be an Electrola?
