Well, £77 pounds so far.

Lots of little bids again, so will this be like the 'phonograph'

it's worth £77 for parts but I assume no one reading this post will bid , I hope the charity gets £300

Why was it a bargain ? it's only real value is as parts it's not collectable as it is really a fake !

I bought the real thing recently for £169 including postage. Why so cheap? The seller's pictures were so bad that it could have been mistaken for a standard black version.

This reminds me. Last year I collected an HMV No. 5 oak base horn gramophone with incorrect mahogany horn on it (how come so few people seem to know the difference?) from a private seller on Ebay in Southampton. When I collected it I spotted the seller had a concourse condition teak 102 in his office. I asked if he would be interested in selling it? He declined so I simply added I would be very interested if he ever changed his mind and indicated I thought an offer of £600 was probably on the money. He simply added that he'd probably never sell it.

Oh well. If only..........
