The Audio Player really is a bit of a paradox.
It breaks all EXPERT scientific norms and really does not belong in the EXPERT family. At least the bifurcated Columbia horn has some length to it. The only thing I can compare the carcase and pedestal to is the early EMG DR series of electric reproducers. Perhaps Ginn had some input on the early cabinet design or maybe he just wanted to annoy EMG.
I've only come across 3 of these, including this one.

Besides all, of you noticed it, the horn in the audio player is much shorter than the Columbia bifurcated!

Not anywhere near as good as a Decca 120/130 portable with similar bifurcated horns at 2% of the price!

It or an identical example (most unlikely) is back for sale with the same auction house.
Perhaps the buyer was disappointed with it and is now trying to recoup the outlay. Good luck with that.

Unless I am imagining it the first two photographs are exactly the same so it is the same one ?

I wonder what happened ?

As I implied in my previous post, the buyer probably regrets paying so much for so little.
