Scarce, hard to find Puzzle Record

Post by Curt A »

HMV Limerick Puzzle Record - 36 different limericks per side (not mine)
I searched for several years to find this title...

It is, but if I remember correctly, I paid close to $50 for that record without shipping... these are very hard to find and the "ultimate" puzzle record, with two separate bands of grooves per side. It's a truly unique record...

I own a forerunner to that Puzzle Record. Mine is Canadian Berliner Puzzle Record #1000 with 3 selections - a "hot" piano solo, a Dan W Quinn song, and a comedy routine by Billy Golden (I think). One of my favorite records in my collection.

Yes quick but what did the seller get ? If the postage cost is £7 as he stated the Ebay fees will be £1.60 so he will get £2.39 what's the point ? it will take 30 minutes to pack safely :? And then go the post Office :? And buy a decent box to post in ? :?

All international postage is ridiculously high now. Especially stuff sent from the US. One seller quoted me US$30 for a small light item that could fit into a standard envelope and didn't need protective packing (I think it was for half a dozen tiny nuts and bolts). I just don't buy internationally now, except from China that has free postage on many smaller items.
