How to make an HMV102 look like a 101.

Post by epigramophone »

We often see HMV102's with their lid transfer panels removed by sellers who are unaware that they have devalued the machine by more than they make from the separate sale of the panel. On this example someone has substituted a 101 style record pocket, and to do so they have used three screws, the heads of which are all too visible on the outside of the lid.

What a shame, it's a nice early machine too.
