It's teak, not walnut, and yes, it's a 101.

I am unsure as to how much this ultimately sold for. The last figure I saw was £230. Quite a bargain I think if that was the final selling price.
I wonder if some-one on this forum was the lucky winner ?

The last one I saw sell at auction was back in December last year , where a particularly clean example sold for £600 hammer price. I bid quite low on it because a) I've already got 2 teak 101s, a front winder and the Hen's Teeth rare side winding version and b) the auctioneers photos were the usual utter crap and c) no indication if it was working or complete or its condition or anything d) the cost of getting it packed and shipped on top by Mailboxpoodling around wrote: ↑Mon Mar 21, 2022 10:16 am I am unsure as to how much this ultimately sold for. Even though I bid on it I can't find out what it finished at either without telephoning them. ****ing auctioneers!

Thanks mate! Inept auctioneers strike again. If they had posted proper photos and made even the slightest attempt to look interested in what they were selling this would have sold for a lot more.
I expect to see it on Ebay next week from one of the usual suspects!

Does this look like the same machine ? difficult to tell from the auction catalogue photos --- maybe , perhaps ?
If it is , then it cleaned up well !!
