The shiny brass horn on this otherwise genuine HMV Model 7 (HFO) looks more Crapophone than Hayes, Middlesex.
Packing has had to be added to make it fit into the elbow, but it might be a good buy for someone with the correct horn.

I cannot have been alone in suspecting the authenticity of the horn, as the machine sold for a miserable but bargain £55.

For that price... The horn doesn't mind at all.. I'm not an expert, but that horn looks very well, the common Indian horns are very ugly, and ridiculously small.
It could be an Indian aftermarket modern horn, but it looks incredibly well sized for this machine.

Here is an almost identical horn on what is unquestionably a Crapophone.
HMV Brass Morning Glory horns have additional ribbing on the petals, as pictured.
