Edison Triumph with Cygnet horn

Post by BigC »

I saw this on Goodwill website but unfortunately it's a local pickup only. I pass this to whoever can purchase this because it would be a great project. I would have loved to buy this myself. https://shopgoodwill.com//Item/147131112

WOW what a buy. That is a nice complete phonograph with an extra horn for a Amberola . If I lived with in a couple hundred miles I would bid. It is a far trip from Calif.

I know I would also pay to get it shipped. But they won't change the local pickup only. I already asked.

This looks like the Model E that I bought from Jerry Donnell several years ago and I had Tim Fabrizio restore for me.My go to cylinder player!

Following.... Although this is a little further than I would prefer, I do have family in the area and travel there fairly often. Y'all feel free to PM with price input or shipping proposals - if it slips through the cracks and goes CHEAP.

Thanks Chris but I doubt that this is going to slip through. I wanted the members to see it because if not it will end up on ebay.

I'm AMAZED at some of the items that are donated to Goodwill in some lucky locations. Around here it's mostly clothes, outdated furniture, used appliances and so forth.

Did you see the loose joint in the back of the case? Shipping without serious care would be asking for trouble.

Damn, I wish I paid more attention to this section- I literally live 20 minutes from that store.
