That's only 10 miles from me which is something of a record, sorry about the pun!

There used to be a guy in Shipston about 30 years ago who regularly sold HMV Table Grands and nothing else. In fact he was selling the first Table model I ever saw, not unlike this 127. He used to strip and rewax the oak ones more than anything else. I wonder what happened to him?

With that said this mahogany 127 looks quite rough. If I wanted it, which sadly I do not, I couldn't offer more than £30 for it. Ironically if I did want it, I wouldn't buy it as I wouldn't want to feel mean making a lowly offer. Such is life!

Or, to paraphrase Groucho Marx in a different context, any club that would have me as a member I wouldn't want to belong to.

Or to paraphrase Marx via Woody Allen, this also reminds me of the joke about the two women sitting in a mountainside restaurant. One says to the other "The food here is terrible" , to which the other replies "Yeah, and such tiny portions!"

Or to paraphrase Marx via Woody Allen via Viv Stanshall, "That was inedible muck... ... and there wasn't enough of it."
