Are you gonna go get it, or just feed the competition?

If I was anywhere near Texas, I'd go for it.
I'm curious what the serial number is. I have a light Oak VTLA of the same vintage (same motor board type).

That is a beautiful machine and the albums are a great plus. Wonder what it'll go for. My oak VV-XVI was $250 and it isn't even an L door so this'll be interesting.

Just seeing a Columbia sleeve of that era that isn't disintegrating and that beautiful shiny record- not even knowing what is on it- adds SO MUCH to the history of this fine machine !! I hope whoever gets it will keep the collection together intact !

Re: Austin Texas Oak VTLA
Oh I am just feeding the competition from up here in Illinois.
Too far away and I’ve already have my share of large uprights.
The phonographs I’ve already posted here I thought are interesting enough for me to share. We still live in a time where these 100 plus year old artifacts could still be repurposed into some monstrosity fit for a tech millionaire.
Can you just imagine a EMG fitted out with a Bluetooth and the horn made into a lamp?
So hopefully I’m not offending the sensibilities of collectors by posting my finds.
