EMG sound-box ?

Post by poodling around »

Is this an EMG sound-box ?

It looks like an EMG to me from the front but I can't seem to see a back screw fitting ?

The needle screw looks a bit odd as well maybe for an EMG ?

The soundbox bears some resemblance to an Exhibition, but I suspect that the aluminium diaphragm is a period update.
The needle "screw" is a crude bodge which will almost certainly have stripped the internal thread.

Very interesting indeed.

A sound-box I would like to have in my collection 'me-thinks'.

Thank you as always epigramophone.
