I am looking for gramophone records or phonograph cylinder records of any songs from the musical play "The Cingalee". The musical play had several songs, and I will buy any.

Were there actually any period 78 recordings of this play? If you know of some titles of songs that were actually pressed, it would help...

Here are a few G&T pressings. The play's musical numbers are listed here. Other period recordings may be available.Curt A wrote:Were there actually any period 78 recordings of this play? If you know of some titles of songs that were actually pressed, it would help...

Curt A, I own a 2 Minute COLUMBIA Phonograph Cylinder with the title "Pearl of Sweet Ceylon". I hope there are 2 minutes cylinders of other titles.
