Wanted: Gramophone or Phonograph records from "The Cingalee"

Post by zippy »

I am looking for gramophone records or phonograph cylinder records of any songs from the musical play "The Cingalee". The musical play had several songs, and I will buy any.
Thank you.

Were there actually any period 78 recordings of this play? If you know of some titles of songs that were actually pressed, it would help...

The play's musical numbers are listed here. Other period recordings may be available.

Curt A, I own a 2 Minute COLUMBIA Phonograph Cylinder with the title "Pearl of Sweet Ceylon". I hope there are 2 minutes cylinders of other titles.
