________
Is this Jacques Renard the same who led the cello section in the [London] Queen's Hall Orchestra in about 1910 and made some very early chamber-music records with two or occasionally three other players?

I asked if there was interest at $20, and there was, then I dug out my duplicate copy and have since heard nothing. It is available if anyone else is interested.

I think the Renard Trio was 15 years before the Jacque Renard Orchestra. Probably not the same guy.

Re: WANTED: When the Morning Glories Wake Up in the Morning Jacques Renard and His Cocoanut Grove Orchestra
I have now learned, from https://www.discogs.com/artist/3634739-Jacques-Renard , that the Jacques Renard who was associated with the Cocoanut Grove Orchestra was born in 1897; clearly, then, he could not have been section leader of the Queen's Hall Orchestra cellos in 1908! However, I am not the only one to have been confused, since the Discogs page which I have cited lists a record featuring Jacques Renard I (so to call him) under the biographical details for Jacques Renard II.
