I am repairing a Victrola for a guy who really wants a 1920s version of Amazing Grace. Can anyone help him?
Thanks!

Re: Wanted: 78 rpm Amazing Grace
If you want to pinpoint specific recordings, a good starting place is to do a title search on https://adp.library.ucsb.edu/ since quite a number of recordings of the song were made in the 1920s.

The earliest recording was an a-cappella version from 1922 by the Sacred Harp Choir -- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rznMFf1Ljz8 That would be the one I'd try to find, but I'd imagine it's pretty scarce.
