What happened to Tim Edwards and his website--anyone know?

Post by beaumonde »

www.tim78rpm.com does not work. Having thought about it, I don't think I have received an e-mail notice of his new auction for at least 6 months or more (probably more like 10-12 months).

I have been a customer of Tim's off and on since 1999 I think, and have bought some nice 78s over the years -- not so much in the past few years though.

Just wondering if anyone knows what's up.

It appears his website went down in 2009, and his eBay store has been discontinued.

I was disappointed to find the Redhotjazz.com website is down! I had been watching
hoping it would come back but I don't think it is. Was a great place to listen to
rare jazz recording from the 1920's.

Must have been just a temporary outage- it's up and playing now.

It doesn't work for me. It has been out for months and months. If you click on
a featured artist you can play one or two songs. But it you try to search or use any
of the other tabs it's broken;-(

I didn't try to search anything but I went into the band list and scrolled up and down to five random bands. I was able to play selections from most of them though two of the selection files came back dead. I'd say the site isn't being maintained but I'd hardly say its down.
