Columbia AF Graphophone

Post by MTPhono »

Having moved 4 times in the past 12 years, many of my machines have been in storage or on shelves, covered. This is one that I bought from a fellow board member almost 10 years ago and haven't removed the cover since. This past weekend was the long overdue unveiling....a Columbia AF Concert Graphophone. It played as cleanly and loudly as it is shiny (and not restored)! It's really painfully loud. Glad to finally be able to rediscover my collection.

I have to agree - I have 4 of these pedestals but none as amazing as this one.

I sure do. They arent common and not easy to find in nice condition. It looks great on that stand. Did you get the pics by the way?

At first when I read this, my brain interperrated it as "Beautiful looking as f***", which would still be accurate

Beautiful machine and pedestal.
