Never seen this lock and key combination before, or at least out of a machine or device like this. Has anyone else? Interestingly, it's a Yale lock.

The Victor Data Book indicates that style key was used on late VV-XXV, VV-90, and VV-100 models.

Thanks. The lock is unusual, though, and doesn't seem like it would go on any of those cabinets?

Re: To What Does the Nipper Key and Lock Go?
Yes, it doesn't appear to be the type with 2 wings, like you normally see on lid locks.
This one looks like it would be fitted to a drawer or perhaps a door, using a one piece sold tongue.
The old Crank key identification chart shows a similar key (but shorter), and it mentions they were used on the VV-100.
Did this or one of the other models have a lid and a door lock on the record storage compartment?
Or did any of the console models from around the VV-100 era have an accessory drawer?
Or could it possibly be for one of the early electric radio and/or phono combo models?
