Columbia AH Motor Question
I have a question for somebody that knows the motor for a Columbia AH early style first style. This is the one with the offset crank hole, top mounted speed control, and the horizontally mounted spring barrel. As you can see from the picture below, I put three brass washers in between the gear and the frame because there was a bit of a wobble in the gear. I would like to know what a correct machine is supposed to look like. Is there supposed to be anything between the gear and the frame? I have a speed control issue, and this may be a contributing factor. In case you’re wondering, the springs are brand new. Thanks.

Re: Columbia AH Motor Question
I don't have my AH motor handy at the moment, but I strongly suspect those washers do not belong there.
