Where can I find all this info? When I search Google I don't find any detailed information.

I can't think of any publication that is still in print. There is a good write up in "A Guide To Collecting His Master's Voice "Nipper" Souvenirs" by Ruth Edge & Leonard Petts (1984). You may find a copy on Ebay. It's been out of print for years. Maybe one of our UK member's can recommend a source that is still easily available???.Player-Tone wrote:Where can I find all this info? I googled a bit and it seems that the Royals are very tight with images of these little treasures.

The working miniature reproducer for my Miniola VV-50. It makes a loud sound when slid on a surface- much louder than a plain needle. I can't wait to hear it on one of my Miniola records!

How do you manage to work on something so incredibly tiny with any amount of accuracy? This just blows me away...

AMAZING! I need 3.00 reading glasses to work on a regular #2 reproducer, I could not even attempt to work on something like this. Great job! Please keep us posted.

Thanks!
I just hope nobody ever tries to rebuild this reproducer!
-Just steady hands and good vision. There were several times however when parts would blow away if I accidentally breathed on them, which were not fun trying to find again. How do you manage to work on something so incredibly tiny with any amount of accuracy?

1/12 scale 'Miniola' VV-50 update:
Here is the finished case, internal horn (which dosen't show up well in pictures), reproducer, and spring with spring barrel. This little spring barrel was made for a pocket watch, but is the perfect size for this application. It will be placed in sideways due to limited space, unlike the vertical barrel in a real VV-50. I still plan on having it wind from the front with the crank.
