Re: Edison Home With Brass Mandrel - Questions
My Home is almost finished so I thought I would show an update picture. I found an Automatic recorder that is close in serial number to the reproducer. I found an appropriate crane and the horn is finished so it matches the patina on the rest of the machine.
I am still looking for a few things that would have been issued with the machine originally when it was sold. If anyone has an original set of operating instructions, (a long shot, I know!) an Edison oil can or a chip brush that are appropriate to this machine and would be willing to sell or trade, please let me know!

Great looking outfit. I have a suitcase-appropriate oil can if you still need that.

The weighted halfnut is the same as was on my 1265. Nice machines folks, I have always been a fan of the lowly suitcase home.

Re: Edison Home With Brass Mandrel - Questions
For those who have not seen my suitcase Home #894....... There is a reproducer locking screw at the one o'clock position on the carriage which was probably added after it left the factory. It is also riddled with crane mount holes in the case. 4 on the front panel and 2 on the rear panel.
