The ad you presented in your most recent post is very interesting because it mentions Polphones were available with a full nickel base. This leads to the conclusion that some Polyphones were sold in that configuration. Of course we still have no concrete evidence, but it makes me wonder why an ad would mention this if it was artistic license. Perhaps some were sold this way, but it is possible none exist anymore. How cool would it be to find out one day.
