It is a fairly large, 14 x 20, and formal room. I was very careful to stage each machine so that each one has its own space.

In the living room, where we usually are, there is an HMV 127 tabletop sitting on a colonial style table placed in a corner, and some records are in the shelves just beside the table. These are at the front of the room, just beside the big windows. At the opposite side corner of the room, beside the entrance door, there stands an upright beauty: an Aeolian Vocalion, unknown period model. This has the graduola, and a revolver type soundbox that plays laterals and Pathé records too.
There's another big room that we use as a second parlor, play room and office. There we have the Queen: an upright HMV 194. This is the one I play the most, and the one with which I usually do my experiments: improved soundboxes, a self-made counterweight, etc. This stands in the middle of a large wall, but I mounted her on casters, so I can move her to the center of the room for best acoustics.
Beside her, there's a low long console table full of record albums on the lower shelf. On top there are several things, plus an HMV Junior small internal horn tabletop from the early teens. The wall in front of that has a convenient IKEA expedit shelf holding 3,000 or so 78s... in current use.
In the corner, beside the entrance door there is a modern music outfit: turntable, amp and two big speakers standing on a table. Under that table there is a frankenphone which stores inside a Victor no. 34 motor that I use for spare parts. At the opposite side of the room, in a corner below the windows, I store six portables: a brown crocodile old HMV 101 and a classic one 101-G in black, another 102, a Columbia 113a, a Swiss Thorens Diana portable (under overhauling work) and a Brunswick Parisian portable record destroyer.
My twelfth crank gramophone is another Swiss Thorens portable of the reflex horn-in-the-lid type which is stored in the basement. I never play this one for it destroys 78s and had a very unpleasant shrill tone. It stays on a metallic shelf that also keeps another 1,500 or so 78s, the surplus ones, in boxes.
There's also a Webcor Holiday electric fonograf in the cellar of the summer house, in the countryside. I keep there also 300 or so surplus and extra copies 78s, so I can also play music in the quiet nights at the country. It sounds warm and plays quite well.

According to my wife, none after this weekend. As of now there a mahogany Amberola 1a, a mahogany VTLA of early 1907 vintage and a dark oak, fumed I think, VV-X of early 1917 vintage. These machines and more from another room are all being moved to our newly-finished basement collections room, a several year project. Finally I will be able to see what I own and enjoy it. Do some repair and restoration work, too.
