Victor Motor

Post by dutchman »

Anyone know to which model Victrola this motor goes to? Was cleaning out my storage shed and have a couple of Victor motors. This one is missing the speed
indicator which I believe I have somewhere.

From the looks of the motor board, I see it's Mahogany. It could be a Victrola IX, X, or XI from 1917 until the end of production.

It's not like the motor in my XI-G (1917), where each of the two springs is in its own canister.

Henry, Your machine was probably the last of the earlier style motor. The motor shown is a Burton motor, so when these were starting to be used, I'm sure Victor was using the last of the stock of the earlier motors.
