Rockford History Museum (Pictures)

I went to Rockford's Midway Village History Museum for a WWII re-enactment. In addition to seeing lots of uniforms and equipment there were four phonographs scattered around. Two Edison C250's and two portables. One American issue and the other Russian. I actually heard the American issue portable play, but I think it needed work on it's reproducer. I had never been to anything like this before and it was very interesting. Here are pictures of the phonographs and a radio.

"You can't take the phonographs nor the money with you, but the contentment the phonographs bring may well make your life better, and happier lives make the world a better place."
