Paris Phonograph Museum

Post by TinfoilPhono »

Definitely a must-see for anyone going to Paris. It's located in the Pigalle district, a short walk from the metro, at 53, Boulevard de Rocheouart. Amazing collection!

Rene! How did you get these photos of my summer home in Paris? I told the butler not to let in strangers...

Amazing collection, I'd love to see these some day!

Ditto!

In one of the pictures (http://forum.talkingmachine.info/downlo ... &mode=view), there appears to be a HUGE metal Morning Glory type horn, is it an actual functioning one?

I was there too. I showed the butler your post in YT, handed him $800 and picked up that Opera!

Some of those horns are outstanding, but they also make me wonder about their originality and appropriateness to the respective machines. The only one that I remember featured in some book is the pink and purple asymmetric one.

Very nice pictures, however! A marvel to look at.

Fantastic - Thanks for the photos Rene

I have a soft spot for European machines and this definitely means I have to keep buying those lottery tickets.
