People don’t want to pay actual $ for innovation, so I shelved the project.

I would have paid for it, what kind of money are we talking here ?MicaMonster wrote: ↑Sat Apr 16, 2022 3:52 pm People don’t want to pay actual $ for innovation, so I shelved the project.
It saves a lot of time not having to centre the needle bar stem on the diaphragm, and suddenly the reproducer can deal with electrical recorded records.

Especially if you use O-rings Wyatt, you can just order them in bulk, no need to cut custom ones.

I sure think it would be a marvel to have- especially if I end up getting that Vic R. Mildly off-topic, but is there any chance you might have a long throat back for an Exhibition?MicaMonster wrote: ↑Sat Apr 16, 2022 3:52 pm People don’t want to pay actual $ for innovation, so I shelved the project.

With all due respect to Wyatt, I want my Exhibition reproducers to sound as they were designed, even if that design could be improved upon. I have no doubt that Wyatt's modifications are an improvement and I appreciate that they are reversable.

I think a person should have at least one example of Wyatt's improvement, if nothing else for comparison.

Re: Because the Victor Exhibition wasn't good enough........
I came across this old post on The Victor 2 reproducer and I can't believe there wasn't more interest in it. I can understand that there are members that want to keep everything original but sometimes an improvement is mandatory to attract more interest. I fell in love with this hobby years ago and I respect all the people who have taken the time to teach and guide me. I think that there is always room for improvement and innovation. I wish that Wyatt would have continued his work on the Victor 2 reproducer so that his innovation could be enjoyed by others too. Just my opinion.
