You will get a soundbox off ebay. I needed one for my vocalion as it was cracked and got a gold one eventually. You do see them from time to time on ebay. I don't think it will be to long a wait.
I have a large fancy upright vocalion and its one of my favourite machines. Its classical gramophone shape but its big.
Your cabinet is very impressive. I really like it. Congratulations.

I just heard from one of my Phonograph expert contacts who agrees that this would in all probability have been one of the Art Models from the mid to late teens designed in the 18th Century English or French furniture style. However, no one has yet to come forward with any actual Catalog page photos with descriptions. I just know there has to be some one out there with an extensive collection of that kind of Phonograph ephemera, so hopefully he or she will eventually come forward as I would love to see how it was promoted and described 90 years ago.
